Hmm..dual curved monitors?

Porn would be so immersive.

I bought one of these for my XBone and at first I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it - I really noticed the jittery refresh, but I decided to give it some time and I've really grown fond of it. It only has two inputs (HDMI and RGB) and no remote - but, it is a monitor (I have to keep reminding myself).

I'm really tempted to get one for work...

And, for a desktop monitor, I've found the curve is a lot easier on the eyes - your eyes aren't constantly refocusing as you scan across the screen.

Thanks. I hope somebody gets to enjoy this. I would have jumped on it, but I just grabbed a Dell S2715H on Ebay

It is a VA panel which has better blacks than IPS, but narrower viewing angles. Specifically, Samsung makes their own SVA panels which HP also uses in their monitors.

It seems like a gimmick to me, but then again, I've never seen one in person. The only feedback I've heard about curved screens was in regard to HDTVs, and in that case it can be a negative. It creates a single point in the room where it's potentially a better viewing experience than a flat HDTV, and makes every other point in the room a worse experience. I can see how this being a a desktop monitor would make that a non-issue. My general impression is that they made this because they could, and because it's a differentiator that they can hold over some of the less premium brands that don't have big R&D budgets, but it's not necessarily better.

I'm tempted... I currently have a 27" korean monitor at the moment and don't know if it would look good paired up with this next to it.

You could grab this and do what I'm doing. I have a DVI-D only Korean monitor and I needed something for native 1080p content AKA (Netflix and console gaming) as well as newer games that my GTX 980 Ti may not run at full blast at WQHD or games that do not support resolutions over 1080p like Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.
