1) First Login with your Amazon ID to the Amazon.com
2) use below link

https://www.amazon.com/b/ref=relo..._i=balance

3) if your account is eligible, click to Qualify. ( YMMV)

4) Reload your balance.

How to Use Your Promotional Code:-

Add one or more eligible products sold by Amazon.com to your cart.
The savings will be reflected on the final order checkout page if the items in your order are eligible for using the promotional credit.
Complete your purchase no later than May 15, 2016, 11:59 PM (PT) and the promotional credit will automatically be applied to your order.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I posted this earlier today to then realize it was already posted back in Dec 2015. Good reiteration for those who may have missed.

Can one use an Amazon Store Card to buy the Gift card?
Else store card always gives 5% back, so not any benefit.
But if you can get it on store card, that's $10 back.

If you already have Prime just apply for the Amazon Store card and get 5% back on all your Amazon purchases.

Just a quick note. This appears to be a way of validating your identity. So, when you go to make the purchase, it wants you to validate the credit card you will use, even if you have used it for ages.

Not a problem for most, but there is a method to their madness.

if I remember correctly, Amazon raised their minimum amount of money I need to spend to $49 ($45?) to get free shipping if I don't pay $99 for prime.
