the phone is shipped by Asurion (AKA TMOBILE's insurnace company) this is the same Asurion company that ships REPLACEMENT phones to the tmobile customers when they file a claim. These phones they are selling are OVERSTOCK or EOL phones. Chances are they will sell off these phones and will be shipping NOTE 5's to people that place a NOTE 4 claim. These phones are damn near mint. People that complained about appearance and usage may have gotten a returned phone, the odds of getting 2 returned phones in a row from them are pretty low unluess they are low on stock.

For those saying the phone is still financed or blocked it will take a week or two for Tmobile to update the info. Here is proof below from a previous slickdealer who bought from them the att version.

not bad, but price may drop some more as S7 is releasing in a few months.
Anyone know if batteries are usually new since these are refurbs?

Edit: oops, US release date is March 7

this or wait for the LG G5? I am looking for a Band 12 phone in the near future. THe LG G5 will be crazy expensive when it comes out compared to this.

I assume this does NOT have LTE band 12, correct?

I agree with others in that my next T-Mobile phone needs to have Band 12, otherwise, why bother? (currently using LG G3 ,and VERY happy with it; bought it for $200 on CL in perfect condition)

EDIT: Looked up specs for everyone...

http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/...ETMB-specs

2G GSM : GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900
3G UMTS(WCDMA) : B1(2100), B2(1900), B4(AWS), B5(850)
4G LTE FDD : B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B17(700)

If I'm reading that correctly, I guess it does have the B12!

And confirmed it here:
http://www.tmonews.com/2015/05/li...artphones/

AND FOR THE DEAL:

I've ordered about a dozen refurbished phones from pangea_deals and have been extremely pleased with the results! This is a great deal--repped!

I dont know why people like band 12 so much. I did not experience any signal improvement. Still weak inside a building, compare to Verizon.

Only matters if you live in/around location where B12 service has been deployed.

There is a mall near my place where I did not get any signal as soon as I entered the building and now I have the signal after B12 deployment so it isn't just hype.

That said, if you already live in established community which has T-mobile signal in most places, you likely will not see difference. My wife's work place do not have t-mobile signal about 20 ft inside the building and I don't think they will have B12 deployed there anytime soon. Frown She does take advantage of wifi calling though.

Not bad, but would like to see this hit $250 - $260, before biting. Bought from Pangea in the past and the phones have been virtually new. This is suppose to get Marshmallow in March or April too, so it will be pretty up to date software wise.

usually the ATT version is cheaper than the Tmobile version so look on their ebay page to see if they have the att version.

It depends where you live. T-mobile can't use band 12 in the city where I live because Cox Communications owns that band. So for me band 12 support is almost pointless. Only is I travel will it be of any use to me.

Not sure, not long ago I used to get 1 to max 2 bars inside my office.
And AT&T people get hardly 1 bar of signal, only Verizon works in our office buildings.
Now my S6 and B12 improve the signal strength and LTE coverage I am getting full 4 bars, its really an improvement.
I will be looking forward for Note 5 deal or 6sPlus...
