I owned these headphones when they were under a different brand. Pretty good for a few months. But then the bluetooth range drastically decreased. It wasn't able to connect from my phone in my jeans pocket while I wore them. A few weeks later the cheap plastic band snapped during normal use leaving them useless. My roommate had gotten the same pair and the same thing happened to his pair. They are also quite tight. Couldn't were them for more than an hour without my ears getting sore I would not recommend unless you're only looking to get a few months use out of them. No response when I tried to claim my warranty.

I really like these headphones and the price - I am usually wary of refurbished items though. Being that this is manufacturer refurbished and officially comes with a 12 month manufacturer warranty does make me more comfortable - anyone else have experience with manufacturer refurbs in the past?

Now they are $75, not $39.97. Were they every that price?

Where are you seeing the good reviews? I was just reading them on Amazon, and they appear to be shill reviews. I'm going to stay away.

To any owner: How big are the earpads? Do they sit on the ears or do the ears float inside the pads? TIA.

they sit in your ears. I am debating getting another pair to try and return my original to amazon. They push on my ears and start to hurt after a while. I never read anything about this in any reviews though. Maybe I got a bad set?

I have bought refurbs many times. All have looked and functioned like new. You never know what they had to do to it. Some might have broke part of the band, other problems might be more on the electronic side. But I never feel like I am gambling.

Thanks for the feedback. I will wait for a larger over-ear set.
