Just a heads up. I just checked my old emails and I have about one dozen $1 promo credits that will be expiring on Feb 29th and March 1st. These credits were from purchases I made from Oct., Nov. and Dec. (the holiday shopping period).

Most of the emails state "You can use this $1 credit towards eligible Kindle Books, Amazon Music downloads, or the rental or purchase of eligible movies or TV shows from Amazon Video.

Use your credits or lose them forever.

I believe this link will show your promo balance. It doesn't show the expiration dates. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...1&useAUI=1

Also for those buying the new Pokemon (red, yellow, blue), promo codes can apply to digital codes also.

I just wish they'd tell which ones expire when. I tried to use mine last time, spent the majority of them, and then still lost out. I have no idea the order in which they apply the credits, but I know I didn't earn them all at the same time. Quite annoying. Thanks OP for the reminder.

I have a bunch of those but NEVER used any. I've tried to figure out how many I have and I couldn't see where to go? Any suggestions?

Also, I'm assuming that all of these $1 jobs were stackable. Isn't that the case?

Thanks OP...I was holding out on a few rentals (hoping they'd go down in price) and decided to just go ahead and pull the trigger so that I got something for the no-rush credits.

Heads Up. Even though it does not explicitly stated in promo page, these credits can also be used for kindle books SOLD BY AMAZON only. You can confirm it from the invoice.

it's so annoying how the promo credit thing is so non transparent. to figure out your balance you have to search for it and they include a link that is buried in a FAQ. something like this should be front and center, accessible whenever you log on to look at your account information.

In addition to that, they fold in your expiring credit balance along with your non expiring gift certificates. So when I was trying to use up my promo credits, I overshot and ended up using up my GC balance as well.

Nope can't stack is what I heard from customer service. I volunteered for a dozen+ of theses $1 video & $5.95 pantry credits. I contacted customer service. .Some were supposed credits were supposed to be by email and then enter the code codes only one per order others were automatic but one per order again. In the end if they didn't want to pay out the credits why run the program at all.

Amazon really pulled a fast one on these. We accepted slower service they made money in not having to perform 2 day delivery

Why in heck would they pull a sleazy move like this I don't know but I'll never fall for this one again .

While I hate the confusion between expiration dates and credits that apply across multiple categories, I've used these credits a lot toward MP3 albums and Kindle books, and will continue to do so. They do "stack" in that you can combine three $1 no-rush credits to get $3 off one kindle book. That's been my experience, at least.
