Many of the answers to questions being asked can be found here in NotebookCheck's comprehensive review [notebookcheck.net]. The review model is the 4GB variant so performance test results will vary slightly.

The M processor is suppose to be in between Atom and mobile i3s. Specifically made for tablets.

Basically just as fast as an I5 accept when under full load. (due to wattage and cooling) Should provide a substantial boost in battery life over an I5-6XXX.

is this easy to use in bed? or does it fall over?
how is it for video editing - like kdenlive or something similar?
how is the resolution when using external monitor?
is it suitable for developers / running apache locally for testing ?

For the pen, Miix 700 Active Pen [lenovo.com] is $39.99. Model number GX80K32882. You can find it on amazon also. I haven't used the pen yet but will be purchasing one soon to mess around with.

Yes, thank you. Is the keyboard bluetooth only? Or does it also work w/o bluetooth when connected?

KB isn't bluetooth. It has contacts to connect it to the tablet just like MS Surface.
