Anyone else addicted yet to Dark Souls inspired 'Salt and Sanctuary' from Ska Studios?
Initial reviews are positive, and my initial couple of hours with the game did not disappoint. The first boss fight played just like an early boss fight should in a Souls game. The only difference was that the boss moves did not stay consistent and actually ramped up in difficulty towards the end of the fight. It was genuinely challenging. The narrative so far seems very strong, and there are some mechanics (e.g., sanctuaries, creeds, skill tree) that are original and could see them working well in a Souls game.
If you like Souls / Bloodborne style games and like the idea of something like that melded with Castlevania, this is as close as you will ever get. Very much recommend.
