They use the cheapest hardware in these packaged systems. I would pay the extra $200-300 out of pocket to build my own PC, to ensure I get durable/quality components.

So I noticed when I follow link that the PSU is not loaded. Does it change the SKU if you decide not to add the options? There have been several below $300 deals on 970, and thinking of getting my own PSU.

Thank you for posting ,even through I have a plan to build a desktop in May .
I wonder should I put this ahead and give a shot here.
Is there any chance that we will get similar deal on May ?

Thanks for posting this amazing deal. Can I upgrade to SSD in the configuration and still use the SD rebate? Thanks!

You can't build this machine for this money. The GTX 970 and the i7 6700 cost almost as much as the entire price of this machine on their own. But here you get Motherboard, Case, PSU, RAM, and OS included.

Does anyone know what noise levels on this machine would be? This is perfect for me but I need relatively quiet operation.

Ya, 300 GPU + 300 CPU
But you're going to get a mobo/case/psu/ram/OS worth 200$. Its all going to be very subpar components.

I see no point of Config 1 when Config 2 is only $25 more. You get a newer platform, a better CPU, more memory and a bigger hard drive. Config 2 is the better deal, hands down.
