The last small high-end phone. And waterproof.

Got one. Honestly I don't get the race to put more pixels on a phone. 720p vs 1080p isn't really noticeable until you use your phone as a VR monitor.

Give me better battery life any time.

Why would you buy this if you can get a Nexus 6P for the same price?

Stinks that you can't use these on Verizon.

Biggest selling point is the size of this phone. There aren't any high-end Android flagship's that offer a size as compact as this or anywhere close to it.

Great LTE bands on this. Should be good on any American, European or African GSM carrier

Because the Xperia Z phones are probably the best out there. Their release schedule is every 6 months and they squeeze all of the same hardware from the full size phone in to the compact, along with the 21MP camera they have been using for years. Oh, and they're waterPROOF. Not resistant. They're straight designed for underwater use with a dedicated camera button and everything.

I would have definitely bought one of the Z5 models if they hadn't decided to rip out the fingerprint scanner for the US.
