exactly. This is basically paying someone to send junk mails to you address. and the renewal notification looks like collection letters

Read the terms. Some requires a few months ahead of written notice to cancel autorenewal. If you forget to do that, they will continue sending you magazines and use collection agencys to get the money.

Thank you, brisar. Great timing. I just received the final issue from my last subscription.

Edit: just noticed this is a better price than the FP deal a few months ago. Yay!

I want to sign up but you scared me ! there is an auto renew check box and you can abstain from clicking it! does it work or no? I've signed up for popular photography few yrs back and I didn't have to do anything . stopped automatically after last issue. yes several renew post cards were sent though !!

Zero problem for me. This is my third 3 year renewal through them.

Don't forget 11% CB through FW.

How early can one put renewal if current subscription has, say 9 months, remaining?
In the past I have been denied renewal.

I'd think you'll be fine. They denied me a couple times because my sub had at least 12 months left. DiscountMags contacted them after I inquired about my renewal and was quick to refund after they responded that the extension was denied.

I'm good through 2019.

So it's just like Forbes??!?
Everytime I get my Forbes magazine the first thing I do is rip out all the ads. Cuts the magazine to half the size. Unfortunately there are still ads after doing this, because the backside of an ad might be an actual article. I think it's about 85% ads to 15% actual content.
