LTE Band comparision: g920p is the sprint version
LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 17(700), 20(800) - G920A
LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 17(700) - G920T
LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 12(700), 25(1900), 26(850), 41(2500) - G920P.

Carrier 4G LTE Bands
AT&T 2, 4, 5, 17
Verizon 2, 4, 13
T-Mobile 2, 4, 12
Sprint 25, 26, 41

In other words, assume you unlocked the phone, you still won't get full LTE band coverage on AT&T and Verizon.

This is a CDMA device, so it won't work with GSM carriers like T-Mobile.

These phones are locked to the Sprint network, they can be used with Sprint and Sprint MVNOs. You would have to contact Sprint directly to see about unlocking the phone.

I ordered this from Woot for the same price on Monday (it's due to be delivered on Wednesday, nicely done Woot!) but I had to pay $5 shipping and tax (damn Amazon.)

No, you didn't. That's just the FP party line so you won't move away from them. They say that about everything. Even if it does work on other carriers, like the LG G2.
