Thanks to another thread about the E-210 on clearance at some Walmart stores, I was able to get Lowe's to price match Walmart selling for $199 by calling Lowe's Customer Care. Lowe's policy [lowes.com] is if a store has a lower price, they'll price match and give an additional 10% hence $179.

First you have to see if your local (or close enough) Lowe's has the item in stock for local pick-up. Then lookup a local Walmart to see of they have the item in stock and at what price. This is the link I used to see that a Walmart store in San Jose, CA had it in stock for $199:
http://www.walmart.com/store/5884...eber%20210

Look up your local store number at walmart.com (Store finder) and change the store ID in the URL to see if it has the item in stock and at what price.
Another way is to click on "My Local Store" and near the center of the page there is a field "Check stock in this store" where you should search for "weber e-210"
If it's not in stock, you'll see other stores nearby on the top of the page, click through to see which store has it in stock at the best price. Prices varied in the Bay Area from $199 to $399 depending on the store.

Once you have that information, call Lowe's customer care and ask them to price match. You might have to guide them on how to lookup that information as explained before. The agent I had on the phone was extremely nice and listened to my instructions and I finally got the amazing price of $179 instead of $399 retail price. I'm picking up the grill tomorrow Smilie

Enjoy your BBQ!

I also price-matched the E-310 at Lowes last year. Great deal, best way to avoid stepping foot into a WalMart.

Within 30 miles away from me, the cheapest is $299. Is this grill worth $300?

On the phone right now with Lowe's. The link for the San Jose store does not allow you to add the BBQ to the cart so she is calling Walmart now...fingers crossed!

Update: Apparently the Lowe's customer service agent determined that this was a clearance item after talking to a Walmart employee and that they were out of stock as well, but she did offer me 10% off the grill (save $40) and free assembly ($50). Lowe's seems like good people

Too bad, $400 all around me. Would have happily bought it for $200 since I uncovered my Char Broil that's all of two years old and properly winterized and it was significantly rusted. So now I need one of these crazy cheap Weber deals.

I found it at a local Wal-Mart store in Lynnwood, WA, per the instructions, for $249. Not as smokin' of a deal as $199, but I was able to call Lowes and complete the price-match guarantee with an extra 10% off, so $245.61 after tax. I've been tracking Weber deals here on SD for over a year and a half and this was the best price I've been able to catch it here in the Seattle area where the item was also in stock. Thanks OP!

You're welcome, glad it worked! Would appreciate a thumbs up on the thread and rep if you can Smilie

Update: Walmart hosed me when Lowes called them. No pricematch, full price and sounds like I'm screwed at Walmart too.

Same here except I'm getting $270 +tax (the E310 is $300 at my Walmart - 10% pricematch). I would have rather had the 210 at $199 but at the Walmart stores around me the 310 is actually cheaper than the 210
You are sooo lucky, I wish Walmarts around here would have the 310

Meh false alarm. Ended up wasting 30+ minutes on the phone and getting nothing.

Yeah, the e210 is $397 at the same store the 310 was 349. My lowes didn't call, just pulled it up on the website.

The e310 shows up as $300 on my local Walmart website and says in stock but when lowes called Walmart said they couldn't find any.

Hmm maybe I got lucky, the Lowe's agent I talked to didn't call Walmart at all
