Lack of rebate makes this very nice!

Very nice. No rebate, I can't believe my eyes. $10 cheaper than deal from two months ago.

This is a great value for an entry level gaming card at 1080.

You got a link to the MSI you are referring to? I found one with a quick Google search and the MSI had a slightly higher Core clock, and about 100MHz faster Boost Clock.

The newegg 960 gtx deal with free Rise of Tomb raider ($30 sold on ebay) and $20 rebate was better I think: 190 - 20 coupon - 20 rebate - 30 game = $120

In for 1. Thanks OP.

Anyone know the difference between this card and EVGA's other cards that look the same? And this model doesn't show on their website for comparison.

This model: 02G-P4-1950-KR [evga.com]
Another that looks the same: 02G-P4-1952-KR [evga.com]
Yet another: 02G-P4-1954-KR [evga.com]

EVGA Product Comparison Page [evga.com](which doesn't feature this model #)

Just wondering if this is an old version, OEM or what? Can't figure out EVGAs lineup when specs and form factors aren't changing. They do have higher spec versions of the 950, but these all seem the same.

Thanks,

Todd

I'd probably take the MSI for the faster factory clocks

Would this be an upgrade from a 760? A noticeable one?

Interesting, these things are generally going up in price instead of down. But they seem to be getting faster too with driver updates. Few months ago, bought a GTX960 for $150. At the time, GTX950 was $120 on Amazon and Jet with coupons, amazon warehouse, etc. Now not so much. So this is a very good deal. Just bought a 750 ti for $75 (got lucky amazon warehouse, student discount) for the one kid who rarely games. The other two have GTX 960s. The 960 is a really good 1080P gaming card, the 950 has become better than it was for sure.
