I've been buying this oil for my race cars for years and I've never seen it this cheap before. The Amazon Prime price right now is $46.61, which comes out to $7.77 per quart. There's a 20% clip and save button that brings the price down to $37.29, which comes out to $6.21 per quart. If you have an Amazon Prime credit card you get 3% back to your account too!

I don't see any expiration for when the coupon will disappear, so hurry up and get some.

The only downside is that it's limited 1 coupon per person, so I had to make separate orders.

The closest price I can honestly find is $50/6 quarts on Amazon. All of the other deals from various websites are WELL over $10/quart with shipping.

For the record, you can't even come close to comparing this to the American EDGE. Check bob is the oil guy for info:

Yes, that's why this is such a good deal. I won't put the non-Euro/German Castrol in my race cars.

The 0w-40 is actually cheaper!

http://www.amazon.com/Castrol-031...strol+0w30

Comes out to $4.60/quart

And if you hate the large jugs and are set on the small bottles, it comes out to $6.30/quart (after clip and save) here:

How low will it go and how long will the coupon last!? Hedged my bet and got another 6 quarts. Price has been slowly going down since April 3.

Are you sure these are made in Germany? The newer 0w30 is made in Belgium iirc.

Either way, I only use Liqui Moly products in my BMWs

My car, like many newer cars, requires 0-20 oil.
Perhaps they "require" it in order to meeting MPG-economy standards.

Is 0-30 too far away from the 0-20 oil....or will it meet (or exceed) the 0-20?

What you should be promoting is that Mobil 1 0W-40 is no longer meets BMW LL01 spec (mobil 0W-40 is a thin 40, German Castrol 0W-30 is a thick 30... Both were LL01)

BTW, OP, What cars do you race.?

This is made in Belgium now (pics attached of oil I bought in November of last year). I also have 5 empty bottles from when it was made in Germany (each bottle with a slightly different label as they changed over the years). I've been using this stuff for years in my 2002 Camry 2.5L I4.

Pretty good price. Not as good as what I paid after rebate over the Black Friday weekend in November, but a good price in my opinion.

NOTE: You might want to change the title to 0W-30 not "0w30". People may have deal alerts set for the correct "0W-30" and will miss this deal as a result. Maybe just add "0W-30" in addition to "0w30" if you like :-).

EDIT: Stripped EXIF data and re-uploaded initial 3 photos + added photos of old bottles Smilie
