Easy there, tiger. As a teacher who has spent years in the Konglish, Chinglish, etc. part of the world the guy's comment is correct. There are entire websites dedicated to the unintentional hilarity and awkwardness of non-native speaker English. Saying much of it is funny isn't being a smart ass, nor is it looking down on whoever made the attempt. What it does highlight, however, is the fact that there are thousands of companies which can't be bothered to run their marketing copy past a native English speaker before putting information out in what they think is passable English. Sometimes it's an ad, sometimes a product blurb, and most often it's in the cringe-worthy user manuals that get sent out. Personally I'm glad for it since I've gotten more than a few guffaws out of reading supposedly English greeting cards in South Korean bookstores.
I bought one last week. Great for the price. Sound quality is just ok. Muddled highs and lows. Low top volume, but should be fine for most people. I have a pair of jaybird x2s and the difference in sound quality is night and day.

Nice, I just did my first gym workout with these today - got them yesterday (I'll have Amazon PM the sale). They don't sound very good with a Flat EQ, but I use Rocket Player Premium - has a 10-band EQ - and after adjusting it to my tastes, they sound quite good. Mids are still a bit muddy, but for an active pair of headphones, they fit the bill perfectly, and are way cheaper than Jaybirds to boot.

Would recommend (even though I don't know if they'll break down the road).

The broken English in some of the product descriptions nowadays cracks me up.

For 15$ I'll buy a set. I have another mpow set and they have been fine. Oddly this set says there is a NEWER set but it links to the older 4.0 model. What is that about.

How do these compare, sound quality-wise, to basic headphones such as the standard iPhone headphones? Considered equal?

Had these loved them while they lasted. They stay in your ear during activity. I was a little rough with them and now the sound only works when the cord is in the right place. Overall for 15 dollars I think it's a good buy.
