Product Description
The Ruger LCP Custom comes equipped with a red-anodized, skeletonized aluminum trigger that creates a reduced felt trigger pull. That is in addition to a host of other factory installed upgrades to the venerable LCP, including a dovetailed rear sight with a photoluminescent front dot sight for easy target acquisition, and a polished stainless steel guide rod.

Designed with both male and female shooters in mind, the LCP is as affordable as it is reliable. At just 9.40 ounces (with an empty magazine), the LCP is lightweight and ideal for all-day carry - ensuring you have it when and where you need it.

Winner of the Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence® 2008 Handgun of the Year Award, the Ruger® LCP® delivers superior ergonomic design and handsome styling. When size and weight savings count, the LCP® is a natural for personal defense carry.

Thumbs up for putting the CA Approved info in description...saves me time hunting down the approved list or looking through the website. Cali sucks when it comes to gun laws...and that's an understatement!

In most local guns shops these run about $300 or $50 more than a Keltec P3AT. At local shows, I have seen then around the $250-$260 mark or about $30 more than a KelTec P3AT. This is the cheapest I have seen a LCP .380, if you were waiting on a "buy it now" price, this is it.

Love my normal LCP. This custom version runs 279$ local this is a great price.

One thing to remember. The custom has extended sights that really get in the way when using a pocket holster or the side clip made for the lcp.

in Ruger's defense...

this is called the Custom model b/c they are now including many of the custom mods people made to their original LCP (replaced trigger, added stainless steel guide rod, etc). basically Ruger listened to their customers and wanted to capture the extra money people were spending on the mods. to Ruger, these mods on the Custom model add negligible cost...definitely a lot less than the $20-$50 extra that the Custom model ends up being over the original LCP
