Wow, I remember RS only being $5/month for premium or w/e it was called back when I was in high school.

game has come a long way since 2007.

Constant updates, devs listen to people. Updates are polled. Brand new continent with content still on its way.

Great price for a mere $5.50. Endless entertainment. The nostalgia is real

I hear RS Classic is still more popular than RS3 and they don't know what to do about it

Damn, almost $10 normally? That's steep. I don't play video games anymore, but I don't see the draw to RS anymore with the easy access to Steam games. Why play a browser based game? The draw to Runescape was partly how simple it was and could be played on any computer because it was Java based, looks to be quite complex with a big learning curve now.

Well now they have NXT, which is a major graphics upgrade to RS

I remember playing RS1 in middle school, then the transition to RS2 was so weird, but oddly fun. I was a cheap ass slickdealer of my own kind back then and managed to sweet-talk random people to share their membership accounts with me so I didn't have to pay. So many late nights 'lobb'ing at the ship yard on Karamja.

RSC was the best back in early 2000's. Proud member of The Autorune Crew (anyone else remember the p hat dupe?)

This used to be my favorite game. Played from 2002-2013, but by then they had completely destroyed the game. OSRS is better, but still not as good as the game was back in the day. I can't bring myself to play it these days. I don't think there will ever be a game again like it in it's prime. Most games (and most players) don't want to invest 100s of hours to get a single skill to max level, or have different equipment be good for different combat tasks, or send you off on hours long quests that were truly interesting, not just another 10 minute kill quest like every other game. Makes me sad to be reminded of it.

Good deal though.

Good times back in Falador. Wow, this game explains where my teenage years went.
