Sakrete 60-lb Gray High Strength Concrete Mix $1.98 @ Lowes

If you need concrete, this is a good deal. I just finished an 8x4 slab and costed me a lot using 80lb bags. Now I have another slab that is 8x10 and this sale saved me a lot! I wish I wouldve waited for the same to finish the 8x4.

As far as brand, Sakrete/Quikrete, same thing. If you're that picky, go buy the commercial pre-mixed.

Try searching quikcrete instead of sakcrete on lowes.com. For some reason some regions carry sakcrete and some quikcrete. Price and quantity should be the same.

we usually count em all as adult size. You can get some pretty oversized kids these days.

Concrete is too expensive. There's a reason why we own a backhoe.

Looks like a good deal. Homedepot right now has 80 lb bags for $2.88 each, or $2.74 for 42+ bags, but $1.98 for 60 lbs is a better deal. Hopefully these go back on sale in a month or two, need about 50 bags to pour some footers for a shed.

No idea what kind of correlation you're trying to make here. Are you saying you use the backhoe to mine calcium, silicon, aluminum, iron, sand, and gravel to make your concrete?
