I have been looking for a 100-ft hose for awhile. I know many people like those 50 ft rubber hose from Sears for $20 w/ lifetime warranty. But a 50-ft one does not work for me and also some complained about the heavy weight and black residue so I did not try it. Today I was at Costco and saw Flexon Flextreme® 100 Ft. Heavy Duty Garden Hose w/ Lifetime Warranty for $21.99. So I paid $2 more for 50 more feet and it also has lifetime warranty. I asked so many associates in the store and eventually a manager confirmed the warranty was through Costco.

I took picture of the price but this is a nationwide price. Here is the link to the Costco website
http://www.costco.com/Flexon-Flex...01&refine=

Features:
  • Patented Guard-N-Grip Connector endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation
  • Kink-Free Smart Hose® Design
  • Aluminum Crush-Proof Couplings
  • Leak-Proof 'O' Ring Connector
  • Lifetime Guarantee
  • Made in U.S.A.

Dimensions:
100 Ft. L x 5/8 in. D

Same hose at Sears for $47.21 [sears.com]. So this is a very good price IMO.

I own this hose from costco. Its a good quality hose. It does twist up and get stiff when cold water runs through it. This is my second year so far no complaints.

Mine kinked pretty much right out of the packaging. As soon as a deal for the 100ft black hose from sears pops up and I can get one, this hose is going back.

The black craftsman hoses are really the way to go, and I see slickdeals for them all the time. They're more rubbery, less plasticy (that's my technical analysis).

Don't believe the lifetime warranty. Mine bubbled then blew out about 3 ft from the end and they would not replace it. Was a year and a half old. It blew out on a spot that it always kinked on.

I bought this 10 years ago, saved my info.. kinked way too much, was cleaning out my records and noticed the lifetime warranty (take it back to the store you bought it at)..
Took it and costco did not want to accept it, but when I showed the documentation, they had to.
She was not thrilled, but hey, don't sell it then!

Went back to Swan hoses, they really have a lifetime warranty and last forever.
