Acoustic Research ARS70 that lists for $100 and sells on Amazon for $80 is on clearance at Lowe's for in store pick-up. I got two for just $30 each. Others stores in my area listed them for $41.99. These are going to go fast so snap them up. Other models available but this model is the best bang for the buck.

Good reviews on Amazon.
Weighs 7 lbs which is good indication of a quality speaker.
It is considered one of the best sub $100 speakers.
The next step up is the $300 range for things like Marshal and Bose.
This is not going to rattle your windows and doors but is going to provide decent sound and is a great value at just $30.
Can't believe you see them for $20 at your store... Get them all and give them as graduation gifts... That is what I am doing.

These are not battery operated portable speakers. Those usually cost more and do not sound as good but those have the benefit of portability. This would be great in an office, dorm room, kitchen, etc...

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Rep x4. I ordered both that were available. Not sure what I'll do with them yet.

FYI for anyone in the Seattle area, Milk Creek and I believe Tacoma were $30.
