In other ground breaking news water is wet, the sky is blue and the current political system in this country is corrupt.

You should see the way we handled stuff in some of the retail jobs I worked. We once had a VCR line going on when I worked for a regional retail chain here(Boscov's). Why? Because the pallet load of them wouldn't fit down the narrow walkway they made between the two sets of stock rooms above the store.

We had 3-5 people tossing them to each other and the guy at the end of the line stacking them according to manufacturer/model on the shelves along the wall in the stock room.

There were quite a few dropped is all I'm going to say. Wink

So I'm Thinking Fedex Really Hates It's Customers....

I'd be pissed too if I was a FedEx Ground "contractor." FedEx treats them like sh*t. In California, FedEx recently had to pay $225 million to its current and former drivers for violating state law by fraudulently classifying them as "contractors."

Quote :
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal yesterday said that FedEx Ground's classification of some 2,300 employees as independent contractors is wrong. The court ruled, in a case that covers employees in California from 2000 through 2007, that these contractors were in fact employees of FedEx Ground and the company may now be liable for millions of dollars in restitution for these drivers, most of whom have paid out of pocket for items such as uniforms, fuel, insurance, tires, oil changes, maintenance and even the FedEx Ground trucks they drive, said the law firm of Leonard Carder, which handled the case on behalf of the drivers.
