For those of us that missed out on the recent Living Social deal for Costco:

1. If your company already offers a Corporate Perks acct, sign on with them. If not, you can try one of the ones found on Google. It only takes a minute to create the acct. Proof is not required. Here is one that is currently working:

http://hopkins.corporateperks.com...d%7D%22%7D

2. Search within the Corporate Perks acct for Costco and click on their link for the $55 Gold Membership - New acct holders only! Fill out their form and print it. You'll need to take this to Costco to get your cards and free items. Unfortunately, as with all of these promotions, you have to be patient. They mail the coupons for the freebies.

3. As mentioned by others on SD's last time, there is a promotion going on where you can upgrade and be offered two $20 cash cards for the Executive Card, so there's no point in choosing the more expensive option right now. Update! - An upgrade code has finally been found. You'll only see a $.01 discount off of the cost, but it'll confirm that it's been applied. You will receive a $20 cash card per person on the membership. (Upgrade both people to maximize the offer.) You may or may not want to wait a few days before upgrading. Code: NHMEXEC

Here's what is included for the initial $55 Gold Star Membership:

$55 Package
Includes a Free Household Card
Limit: one Gold Star Membership per Household

Please ensure you have printed the Corporate Perks paperwork because it contains the code needed to get the freebies.

You get:

Free: Kirkland Signature Body Lotion 2/22 oz.
Free: Service Deli Kirkland Signature Rotisserie Chicken
Free: Fresh Bakery Kirkland Signature Bagels 12 count (Mix or match 2 sleeves of 6)
$6 Off Per Package: Fresh Meat - Any Fresh Meat Item
$6 Off: Half Sheet Cake Filled with Cream Cheese Mousse
$5 Off: Kirkland Signature Extra Fancy Mixed Nuts
$5 Off: Kirkland Signature Beef Meatballs, 6 lbs.
$5 Off: Kirkland Signature Ultra Clean Premium Laundry Detergent, 126 Loads
$4 Off: Kirkland Signature Super Premium Dog Biscuits, 15 lbs.
$1.50 Off: Kirkland Signature Mediterranean Sea Salt Grinder, 13 oz.
$1.50 Off: Kirkland Signature Tellicherry Black Pepper Grinder, 6.3 oz.

Lastly, for those of you not already aware, I was just reading online that Costco offers free tire rotation, balancing and flat repairs. Unfortunately, like someone just mentioned, this probably only applies if you buy the tires from them.

Any more details on this? I can't find anything by searching for that deal.

Not sure I understand. I already have a membership from the last deal. There's a way to upgrade it and receive 2 $20 Costco cards and all those coupons? If so, how do I make the upgrade and what does it cost?

And you have to be willing to hang around for a couple of hours to get it done.

The tire shop at my store is always empty, especially late at night (they stay open till 8:30).

I got in on the last deal too but have yet to activate it or use any of those coupons that came with it since the current membership doesn't end until May 31.

Sorry guys, I was at Costco signing up, so I didn't see your questions!

I don't know if this is happening at all Costcos today, but ours is offering a free A1C test today (takes 5 min to get results). This alone was worth the membership fee bc we just found out that one of our family members has diabetes and needs meds. This freebie ends at 3pm today.

As far as the upgrade goes, it's mentioned on the SD's Costco / Living Social thread which is probably in the deal talk section since it's an expired deal. I only know what was mentioned there, but I thought that upgrade promo was good until June. I asked today when I was signing up for the Gold membership, but the woman had no idea and said that I needed a code for it. I'll update if I find the code or please do so if someone on here finds it first.

The upgrade is risk free. You get to keep the cash cards no matter what and if your end of year check isn't at lest$55, you take it to them and they will refund you the difference, so you can't lose money. In addition you qualify for a better discount on buying a car, home insurance, travel, etc.

So, how does Costco define a "NEW MEMBER"?

My membership lapsed Jan 31...Do I qualify now? They have something called an "Awareness Code". which I would like to get the party line definition of the term. Costco, has always come through with some kind of deal for each of my renewals with the exception of my last membership. I signed up for a deal but they never bothered to send the coupons, nor even bother to acknowledge the deal.

Yes! Our membership had lapsed as well and we were considered new members even though they pulled us up on the screen. They just have to enter the code on your paperwork. If they forget, you won't get your freebies. We reminded our customer service person a couple of times.
