Polk Audio TSx 250C Center in Black [amazon.com] $180 (This specific one will be live in a day or two)

How sad is this?? Needed now.
Why they need a day or two for this?

Looks like World Wide Stereo matched most of the prices (including the TSx 250 that isn't live yet)

So, I am seriously ready to drop some dough on some speakers and I have about $900 to spend on my 2 front tower speakers. I REALLY want to get the best bang for my buck and I am currently looking at either the Klipsch RP-260F, Klipsch Reference RF-82 II or the Definitive Technology BP-8060ST's. Does anyone have any recommendations on which of the 3 would give me the best sound quality? I really wish I had a showroom I could go to so that I could listen to each one bit unfortunately I can't listen to any of the 3, but have heard praise of all of them! Would these Polk's be close in performance? Thanks !!

Purely based on brand alone, Klipschs are usually regarded by some as having "harsh" highs due to horn tweeters while the Def Tech speakers, having built in subs, may be considered "boomy". I'm assuming these Polks would fall right in the middle. That being said, I've always drooled over the Def Tech 8080's myself.

If you have exactly $900, I think that the Jbl studio 590 deal is perfect. It was fp about a week ago. The nerds on avsforum were all about the deal too.

Thanks a lot for making my decision even harder! Wink Actually I really appreciate the feedback and I am going to do some research today about these so that I can make a final decision. Now lets say I wanted to drop my budget to $700, what then would you recommend? I am headed to AVS Forum to do some reading...

You need to jump on this deal jbl studio series 590's for 450 a piece free shipping, ridiculous deal, these speakers are so highly regarded, check out some threads on avsforums you don't here one bad thing, it is also the lowest price they have ever been, I jumped on this deal and ended up buying 5 of them, the three fronts being used behind acoustic transparent projector screen, I thought the klipsch's I had were good but these things knock the socks off my my old rf -82's

After writing this I see that someone else also suggested the 590's, I highly recommend you take advantage of that deal.

Sold my RTi4's a few months back. I preferred the Jones' Pioneers more.
Might have to check out the TSx line up.
