All I need is something that plays Blurays. I have a stereo and a Chromecast, so I don't need any fancy audio conversion or "smart" apps.

EDIT. No it can not. Only jpegs.
I'll pass. Cheap Blu-ray player for mom or grandma, but has no other features.

Sanyo brand was gone many years ago, when sold to Panasonic.
this product must be manufactured many years ago.

Pretty. The product page from the manufacture doesn't mention USB as video playback, only under sound and still images, and nothing is mentioned in the manual either.

EDIT. I stand corrected. It does say USB in the video description.. just not in the manual.
