For warranty and AppleCare purposes, is this an authorized retailer?

Price seems decent, but not stellar. Not sure about this seller, though.
Just my 2¢, but I've always had excellent luck with Apple store refurbs. Same price, but you have to pay tax...

Ebay is not an authorized Apple reseller.

Not new, $100 more after tax, and no $80 back in eBay bucks. That's an insanely worse deal.

Got one of these for my sister on Saturday. Should be here soon. Traded 10 iPhone 4 back in January. Came out to less than $100

The problem with this seller is the return policy:

We believe that in order to have the best possible online shopping experience, our customers should be 100% satisfied with their purchase. If you aren't happy with your purchase for any reason, just go through our easy self-service return process.

BUT

"Notebooks, Netbooks, Tablets, iPads and Computers cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or unwrapped."

Buying from the Apple store you can at least return it. Some places you can return it with a restocking fee.

If you know you want this....sure...it's an appropriate price for last year's model. Nothing great. This laptop introduces the new keyboard...the cpu may be a downgrade for some. It's a product that you may not like.....but you're stuck with it.

For me to be stuck with it, IMHO it should be at least another $100-$150 cheaper than a refurbished model. They're probably all the same to begin with. Apple just won't admit their refurbished models are new models that didn't sell...

You realize you can go check it out at the Apple Store before you decide to buy this on eBay. If you are not sure about keeping it then don't buy it. Also, if it is broken or damaged within a certain period of time, you can always return to any eBay seller regardless of return policy.

Unfortunately (for sellers) when buying on eBay, the sellers written return policy means jack when eBay/PayPal sides with buyers almost 100% of the time. It's the main reason I don't sell on eBay anymore.
