Any idea how open the driver for the android without using their pc module? Is it thru usb? Can we use our existing home theater windows install or andriod install for playing games like fruit ninja?

Commercial quality displays are typically heavier than consumer models because they use metal cases instead of plastic, heavier duty frames etc.

Agreed. Both my Westinghouse tv and monitor crapped at around a year of use.

Surprisingly I was just about to look into this pricing because I am looking into a setup for an alternative Skype for Business setup. Surface hub is pretty expensive and I haven't checked into Project Rigel too much. Knew it was around 20k for the larger display last I checked.

Odd I have an 8 year old 32" Westinghouse that just won't die.

Picture quality is pretty good for a 720p set to boot.

Consider yourself lucky, you got the only one built well. I'm sure they fired the slave immediately after finding out the TV is still alive!

Me too. I have an 8yr old Westy 42" 1080P LCD that keeps working as well. IIRC, it was back at the $1200 price point. The only issue I ever encountered was that I sometimes (once or twice a year) had to 'reboot' the TV by unplugging it, pushing the power button to dissipate any power left in the caps, and then plug it back in.

I recently upgraded to a Samsung which is a fantastic LCD but I've given the Westy to a friend who still uses it w/o any fuss.
