Thread Details

Acer All-in-One Computer Aspire Z1 AZ1-621G-UW11 Celeron N2940 (1.83 GHz) 4 GB DDR3 500 GB HDD 21.5" 1920 x 1080 Windows 8.1

item #43924474 on brickseek [brickseek.com]
UPC 88886302043

Another one of these deals, which I actually managed to pick up. Maybe important that Walmart app showed "In Stock" under Store Availability on the Item Details page - "In Stock" on the search results doesn't seem to be trustworthy. Employee located it in storage after given the UPC. Brickseek showed "Limited Stock" FWIW.

Reposted? What happened to the original post for this PC? Looks like it may have been deleted, I bought this PC yesterday and was definitely tracking another thread about it.

Just noticed it was mentioned in this post in your thread. Didn't show up when I searched though.

Yeah, there was a separate thread that included it and I think two others as well. Each PC was separated by // in the title.

Nothing near me. For future reference, where are these clearance computer normally physically located in the store? My store has a separate clearance section. Am I more likely to find it there or in electronics?

Edit: missed the "employee located it in storage after given the UPC" part.

Just curious how do people find all the Walmart electronics deals? I am not able to find any in my Walmart when I glance it. Do they search each and every item in brickseek?

Probably they work at the B&M.

How do you figure out what the item number is? If you see a walmart shelf tag is there a way to figure out what the item number to put on brickseek from that tag?

Use the walmart app. Search for "acer" and then narrow the search results down to "At Your Store" and see what that store lists as being in stock and at what prices. You'll find a few different $49 Acers, $99 Lenovo, HPs, and more. Keep in mind that if you don't see something listed, it's probably not in stock, and this is total YMMV.

You look the item up on walmart.com and look at the end of the URL for the item number. No, not all walmart price tags include the item number. They do however list the UPC.

Sounds like you're probably not using the app correctly. When you use the app to find the items and their prices, don't click on the actual item. Start at the home page and search for "acer" for example. Then click "At Your Store" to filter the results from the walmart.com inventory to whichever store you have set as your local store. At this point whatever you see listed in your search results is what that store has in stock according to their system, as well as the price that it's currently being sold for. If you need to change the store location to a different local store, tap on the address at the top of the search results and then proceed from there to choose another store. Repeat these steps until you find a store that has the item you're looking for in stock and at the price you're interested in.
