Hi All,

I spotted what looks like a good deal on Bestbuy.com. They have the Verizon S7 edge for $599 instead of $779. If you don't care that it's a refurb then you can save some money instead of buying one brand new.

It's Verizon so it should be GSM unlocked for use with AT&T or T-Mobile here in the US.

Black - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsu...Id=5096900

Gold - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsu...Id=5097000

Silver - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsu...Id=5097100

The non-edge Verizon S7 is also available for $499 - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsu...ef=8575135
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Just an s7 edge user perspective, edge is really hard to have any practical use. And with edge you end up having unexpected touching of these sides, hard time to find any decent glass screen protector, and not so great for VR due to the edges. The pro is the larger screen and battery, but for me, I would pick the nin edge if I have a choice again to avoid all the above issues I have encountered.

I may be wrong, but the specifications on BB's website say... "Unlocked: No"

They also have the non-edge s7 for 499.

It's not carrier unlocked but Verizon phones have worked on GSM networks without any problem for a few years.

Did you have the S6 Edge or Edge+ before? I ask because I did and bought the 7 Edge for the better camera and expandable memory. It's the best phone I've ever owned especially considering that T-Mobile paid me to buy it.

I bought a Zagg screen protector that has been on it since Day 1 and still look amazing. I put a dbrand skin on the back and have been using it that way ever since.

Everyone's experience varies but interesting to see a view so counter to my own.

I stepped in from LG G3. I wanted a tempered glass for better drop protection as I feel the slim film ones only protects against scratches and less so for drops. I dropped my LG G3 a couple times and had my wife smash a sliding car door into the phone, always the tempered glass cracks but not the phone glass below it. I want similar protection, but looking at all the tempered glass S7 edge reviews, it doesn't look good due to the curvature edge of the inherit phone design. Atm I do have a slim film protection, and it looks good, but just worry about the day when I drop it or something bangs into it hard. I do still have problems with unexpected side touches rather often (perhaps I have bigger hands? But I am 5'7 and thin body type) that I do find rather annoying and wouldn't have happened with a non-edge phones. I now a day, hold the phone more carefully when I use the phone to reduce the unexpected side touches, but really I shouldn't have to worry about this.

Don't think they refurbish that fast, these are most likely just used phones cleaned disinfecting wipes, if at all.

Most likely, these are buyer returns.

Galaxy Note 6 coming out in July, it will have upgradable storage and removable battery, plus 6GB RAM. Note 5 sales were piss poor, Samsung learned their lesson.

I love my S7 Edge and the edge is what makes the screen look amazing. A thin clear case easily fixes the side touching problem. I don't use screen protectors or VR.

was looking forward to picking up a note 6 refurb in Sept, but not if it only has 6gb of ram.

T-Mobile and AT&T use Bands 2, 4, 12 and 17 for LTE — but the Verizon GS7 and GS7 edge only support 2 and 4
This was my deal breaker
