Seems like a great deal. This is a TN panel but still a good price for g-sync 1440p 144hz and 1ms response..

Great panel after some calibration. Absolutely love the slim bezels that put my QX2710 to shame. TN is fine if you've got it right in front of you and have another monitor for longer periods of media consumption, in my opinion.

As for the price, it's probably best to wait for an outlet deal if you've got your eyes on this one.

Any idea when an outlet deal is due to happen?

Super tempted on getting the DELL S2716DG G Sync Gaming Monitor.

Although... with the NVIDIA 1080 GTX coming out next week, I don't know if I should buy the graphics card first? Or this monitor?

Wish I could buy both at the same time, but I have to space them out due to poor-ness Frown

So which would you guys recommend getting 1st? Monitor or gfx card?

There was a mixup somewhere. I got a deal alert for a Yamakasi 28" 4k monitor, but it comes here for this deal listing for a 27" Dell (which I got an alert for earlier...)

Graphics card. 1080 might end up selling out after the first day and not be found reliably for a while. Also if you don't currently have a card that can push 1440p, you'll be underwhelmed for a while.

i've had a 27" 1440 IPS for 3 years. strongly recommend (though no input on this TN).

i pushed a 1440 monitor for 3 years with SLi GTX 670 FTW's. i upgraded to a 980Ti in November because Witcher 3 was 40fps and below on Ultra. i lost ~30fps across the board (games and benchmarks) moving from 1080 to 1440 on the same system. if you want to push this screen to 100+fps you will need a 980Ti or better with most games.

I will suggest the opposite from serotoninzero. I say, get the monitor first. The monitor is on sale right now, the video card is not. Supply for the video card will be slim, and will be expensive because the first batch run will be in high demand, and you know how supply and demand works. The bigger value right now would be to get the monitor first because you'll be saving big bucks in the long run in doing so.
