FYI - SiriusXM is currently having a free preview until May 31st.

"SiriusXM is FREE May 18 through May 31, just by turning on your inactive radio!"

All I did is go to the Sirius band and it was working without signing up.

Might be good to check it out to determine if worth the effort to sign up for free 2-months. I did and remembered why I never extend it beyond the free time laugh out loud

Looks like it is only for factory installed radios. I have an older pioneer radio with XM that I will give a shot though.

Horrible sound quality. You are much better off streaming music and radio from your phone via 4G and Bluetooth. Even 3G is better.

I have XM for the MLB network. Radio relay antennas screw the reception up. Same dead zones every day on my drive to work.

Assuming you have the proper data plans to suit such a thing....

We're not talking about programming quality, which varies by station but is overall very enjoyable.

As for sound quality, though, SiriusXM uses an extremely compressed signal and sounds like garbage (compared to ANY other source).

That's what I found. The quality was better in cities though, but still not as good (not even close) to HD Radio or Bluetooth streaming. Sirius XM is like AM radio.

Agreed. XM sound quality is bad... just bad. Overcompressed.

In the link terms it says you must call to cancel, is that the case, or can it be done online?
