So far I'm enjoying my FreedomPop SIM card. It's in a Lumia 640 so it has limited functionality. But even at $5 what I paid I'm enjoying it.

So you're one of the reasons why it sold out instantly. Thanks for nothing.

Now that I know it used to be $5 or even $1, as a slickdealer I cannot consider it a deal at $8.99, though it is a steal.
Will wait :-)

As grown ups we've all earned the right to hate whatever we want. I'll hate whatever game I want, and I'll hate the players which make the game possible. Honestly though, I barely give a damn and am curious why I even commented before. Heh....

Well FreedomPop sold it by itself for $1, these l then $5, then $10, now $9 with a tiny external battery. So it's not a horrible deal. Honestly if a SIM card with data only and 700 MB per month free is up your alley I wouldn't let a one time cost of $9 stop me.

Absolutely.

I am among few who started with freedompop years ago, when you had to pay $90 to lease a device (they never refund the money as promised). That deal turned into $25 then free. No complaint though because you get free data every month, and the connection is getting better and better.

A power bank worth at least $5 (I am sure it is used one), so this is not a bad deal. Just that I already have 3 of the hotspot, 2 phones, even though the SIM is a better choice, I am still fighting myself Smilie

We have 3 FreedomPop LTE phones and one of the GSM kits. I loved FreedomPop, but I really hate Sprint's network.

200MB != Free Internet

FP loves to charge your CC even when you didn't authorize payment.

Deal comes with a power bank, too. Also, when I bought it at least, was able to buy a second SIM for $5 (but YMMV on that!).
