Use code ARC20SPRING to take 20% off $1999 list price. Need Amazon Visa. Maybe it's time to apply for one for the sake of saving $400 if you are in the market. Amazon Visa Rewards members also get 3% back so to soften the blow on taxes.

No 3LCD vs DLP flame wars. This will smoke most projectors below and above range in terms of overall lumen output and deeper blacks.

For a limited time, you can save 20% when you shop the Amazon.com Spring Gift Guide and pay with your Amazon.com Rewards Visa Card. Whether you're shopping for Dad or a recent Grad, enjoy a cardholder exclusive 20% off qualifying purchases.

Here's how:
1. Add qualifying items from the Amazon.com Spring Gift Guide to your cart.
2. Select your Amazon.com Rewards Visa Card as your payment method at checkout.
3. Enter ARC20SPRING in the "Gift Cards & Promotional Codes". You will then see "Promotion Applied" in your Order Summary.

The contrast ratios are a hogwash in real numbers from Epson, but in grand scheme of things, 5030UB is as high you can go in terms of contrast/black level and lumens compared to DLP.

Basically best of both worlds. This projector even shines in ambient light. This deal isn't for the faint hearted and the best price available from reputed seller along with free lamp and Amazon Visa rewards 3% CB. Will be hard to replicate until holiday season if you are on the fence.

This is an amazing projector. I got it on a "deal" for $2,200 a couple years ago. $1,600 and a free lamp is a sweet deal. We use it every day and have no complaints.

Yes this can be used as an everyday projector to replace TV. If you have a setup where you could accommodate a projector even in some ambient light, this is the one bar none.

I would be all over this if I didn't have the 5020. Heck I could flip 5020 and sell the lamp and be close to price of 5030. But the differences between 5020 and 5030 are minimal. The contrast ratio as I eluded to earlier is a hogwash. 5030 adds MHL some other nicer features which are good to have than a necessity.

I looked at this and then the comparable Sony. I went with the Sony which I found for better price and less pixelation when viewing. Ymmv.

Yeah, this is my 3rd projector...Panny AE-700 then Panny AX-100 and now the 5030. Amazing how the technology has come over the last 10 years. You don't have to own a 5030 to enjoy front projection...it's amazing what kind of performance you can get these days for even a grand.

Got this as a gift from family last year. And totally loved it. Setup with SilverTicket projector screen and 3D / Bluray looks awesome! totally worth it for this price.

Yeah, I tried but it doesn't recognize the code. It may be because I just applied for the Amazon Visa...I was accepted and the card appears, but the code won't recognize.
