A great deal, as before, provided you don't need to do any service on it. Being a non-USA model, Fuji won't repair it here, so be prepared to deal with international shipping and wait time.

If you can wait until the X200 comes out, I hope the X100T will be going for this price then, and the USA model at that.

I have a grey import x100s dropped and broke the evf/ovf and lens, sent to Fuji and they repaired it with my credit card insurance covered the cost($400ish).
Their phone support is very good, they even have a special department for x100 series.
This is two years ago though, not sure if it changed.

I was referng to warranty repairs, for free. After a year, we all pay so I don't care.

Considering all the electronics in these, and the issues, I'm too weak to pull this trigger.

I've owned 2 x100, 2 x100S and 1 x100T models and never had an issue with any of them. Of course they were all US versions. I'm tempted by the discount of the T and my reliability of past models. I know there were some very early problems with the original X100, but they seem to have corrected them. Fuji will be running a sale on US versions soon, but they will be $1099, so $300 is a nice discount. I did buy a US version x100s for $849, but that was only after the x100T was announced.

Hmmm....what to do?

hmmm having owned both colors for this camera, I would go with the black version. As for the X200, I dont see that coming out until September or so and the T will get discounted but not by much. they hold their value really well. I sold Fuji x100s with no serial sticker for nearly $450 dollars early last year

I LOVE EXR feature on my Fuji's where it pulls in more detail/controls highlights and in challenging light, renders a images that P mode usually has a hard time with. Combined with the APS-C sensor, this should be a fine camera.

Does this camera come with a Lens hood? I would be worried about scratching a built in lens.

My full frame gear is more capable, but man there are few cameras (without shelling out Leica money) that produce this kind of image quality and look as good doing it - I've had many conversations start from people interested in my x100t.

If you're looking for one of these it's a no brainer at this price as they go for this much on the used market. They hold their value really really well too

So many people dropping their fuji systems for micro four thirds because of fujis notorious poor auto focus performance. Stylish cameras but weak system. Incredibly slow auto focus and extremely expensive lenses. Micro four thirds offer better images, amazing 4k video, much better auto focus especially with certain cameras having phase detection and DFD technology and cheaper lenses. Also much smaller and stylish though I do like fuji styling.

What? Complete nonsense. Let5s see your source claiming "many people dropping their fuji systems for micro four thirds because of fujis notorious poor auto focus performance"?? My X-Pro1 and my X-S1 both are great with AF and outstanding with MF. In the end, it all gets down to IQ and true colors captured..Fuji excels at this. You obviously have never shot with a Fuji.

You seem like computer screen pixel peeker instead of a real world shooter as the prints (it's what really counts) one gets from these Fuji's are gorgeous holding fine detail with rich colors/tones. Many pros use Fuji's for pro (paid) events like weddings, fashion, corp events, etc.

Go post your rant (and view pics) on Steve Huff's blog where real pro's post and see what you get for answers..hint: you are full of baloney. http://www.stevehuffphoto.com/tag/fuji-x-pro-1/
