Total Wireless (Verizon MVNO) now offering 5GB LTE - $35/month

Total Wireless [totalwireless.com] is an MVNO operated by America Movil (Tracfone, StraightTalk, Net10). In the past the service was 3G-only, but now they are offering 4G LTE with Verizon. LTE is throttled at 5mbit.

Plans are shared:
$35/month: Single line plan with Unlimited talk, text, and 5 GB of data.
$60/month: Two line plan with unlimited talk, text, and 8 GB
$85/month: Three line plan with unlimited talk text, and 12 GB of shared data
$100/month: Four line plan with unlimited talk, text, and 15 GB of shared data

Total Wireless also has BYOD and free sim cards.
Walmart is their exclusive retailer and should carry sims/devices.
Taxes extra.

3GB of extra data can be purchased for $10 and it rolls over (no expiration)

Very competitive rates compared to Cricket and MetroPCS. Best deal for Verizon if you need their coverage. Smilie

LTE sims for BYOD now available at Walmart [walmart.com]

For iPhone users that's having issues with not having data after activation, go to ivzwentp.tracfone.com while connected via wifi and install the profile. Not sure about Android.

No Visual Voicemail, you'll need to call in and enter your pin every time you receive a message, just like 1995 shake head

Email for CS: TotalWirelessBV@TotalWireless.com

bulb It is recommended that you contact TotalWireless (via chat or phone) to get a FREE SIM to activate

bulb If you are swapping phones on TW, make sure you get a NEW SIM before swapping. If you just swap sims, the ESN of your device will be locked to your account and you can't sell the phone to another person. Your ESN happens to be your account number. When you sell a phone, you want to sell both the device and the sim card together. You can request a new sim for free.

seems like cricket is cheaper

5 lines for 100
2.5gb of lte (unshared) throttled to 8mbps

hopefully this will start a price war and cricket will get more data for the same price.

but yeah like the op said if you need big red coverage then get this. ditch those scummy verizon peeps

Eh cricket still gives you more data and higher speed limits for your money, but not bad among Verizon LTE MVNOs especially with free sim and BYOD

Pretty good deal but ya gotta watch out for Verizon native coverage dead spots. Should put a hurting on Movil's Pageplus monthly plans.

Yeah, in some combinations, Cricket is better. However, if you like the idea of shared data it might work better for some families. Also extra data is 3GB for $10 with rollover.

I was just chuckling, until I Saw your comment Big Grin!

I had to ditch Sprint a couple of years back, it was just getting out of hand how terrible it was especially being in a big metro city.

Must be in an area with great sprint speeds and bad verizon speeds.

My area is the opposite. Even with a few bars I get 15+mb, i'll get as has as 30mb in some areas. Sprint on the other hand is a joke here, having sprint is like having metropcs. My friend the other day was trying to show me a youtube video and it buffered constantly while my phone speed tested at 23mb.
