Home Depot has this model for 2,699 so I went to lowes to price match plus drop another 10% off. From 5/18- 6/6 there is a $300 lowes gift card rebate as well. With tax in GA I will be in this for 2,299.14. John Deere lists this model for 2,999 plus tax. Still a good chunk of money for a mower but if your looking for a quality zero turn I feel this is a great deal.

good deal. I don't like the build quality on these, but that's a good price for 48" with green paint on it.

Nice deal, but I think if you need a way to catch clippings you'll be up another $1000...

Also, does this one have the lever on the deck to switch between chute and mulching?

I'm looking for a rider today but this is a bit high for what I need. Only have 5/6 of an acre so was thinking of a $1300 - $1600 price range. I don't see to many mower deals on here so if anyone has a suggestion, I'm all ears.

This is a good deal for what it is tho.

Thumbs up OP.

I'd suggest JD 105 model, http://www.lowes.com/pd_422558-57...81836&pl=1. I'm using it on a 1 ac lot and it's still going strong after 8 years in Tx conditions. Very low maintenance cost and what I like the most is it never fail to start up.

That's one I was looking at actually. I have a JD push mower and have had not a single issue with the motor on it either in 5 years.

Thanks for the suggestion. Heading out shortly to pick one out.

John Deere thinks owners do not actually own the tractor after you buy it....lol

I don't like companies like these

Ugh. I need a mower too. Just having a really hard time even considering getting one from a big box store. And they are just so much money.

Btw, don't ever buy a single cylinder motor with more than 15+ hp unless apparently you like like broken mowers.

Which store did you use? My local Ga store won't let me use price matching with the $300 off card.

It was difficult to find a store that would honor this deal, but after four failures, I finally succeeded.

The build quality is two completely different worlds when you buy from a big box store vs an actual JD store/licensed dealer. It's annoying its like this but I usually prefer the cheaper end of the commercial stuff vs big box store crap.
