I absolutely love this book, and the follow up as well. Sanderson is fantastic.

Fantastic book! And book 2 is even better. I think it's the only thing going currently that rivals A Song of Ice & Fire. Can't wait for book 3.

And the length may be the only deciding factor in supporting an electronic issue, that's a fraction of the production cost of print. The original $9.99 price is pretty far off the target range of the printed option.

Super long book. Mistborn is more succinct and easy read. Potential buyers need to know this series is going to be like 10 books.

The current story arc is only three books. So it's manageable

I still haven't read the 2nd one. Started reading a couple of chapters and realized that to enjoy it I'll have to go back and reread the 1st one since I forgot most of stories and characters since the first time I read it when that 1st came out. A thousand pages book is pretty daunting to reread and I haven't got around to doing it.

Agree with LEO. having read A song of ice and fire, these 2 books, the 1st 3 mistborn and recently Red rising trilogy this is my 2nd favorite. Sanderson is only getting better imo

Bought this almost two years ago for the same price. Since it's only a two book series, maybe I'll start this book next. Sounds great... which is probably what I said two years ago :-D

Edit, guess another book is coming out, so I'll wait on reading it!

Read all of Sanderson's works. He writes about separate worlds in a big "cosmere" aka universe that shares themes such as gods, magic systems, etc. Mistborn and The StormLight Archive center on two of these worlds.

It's incredible how much content he puts out, and he also gave The Wheel of Time as good of an ending as could be expected.
