Was in target this morning snagging another one of the drives from the Seagate HDD Deal
and I came across this little gem... an Asus "RT-AC1900" sitting on the shelf, not clearance stickered or anything like that, priced at $59.98. Inspecting the packaging shows the RT-AC68U under the FCC information, meaning this hardware is the same as the RT-AC68U / RT-AC68R, and I assume it runs the same firmware as well. Not sure why it is re-modeled as RT-AC1900, but I think it may have something to do with consumer confusion on their product line names.
Picture is attached as well as at this link here:
Receipt has also been posted.
Anyway.... as you can see in the picture, the DPCI is 056-02-0080 and stock levels can be found here http://brickseek.com/target-inventory-checker
However, brickseek is not showing this price in it's system, which makes me wonder if I got it on a price mistake or not. Either way, this is obviously a HUGE YMMV due to brickseek not lining up with what I saw and scored in the store.
Amazon reviews are great, 4.5 out of 5 stars on this router
Highly rated on smallnetbuilder as well
Overall killer deal if you can replicate it on a router that was once $200 msrp!
