Long Lasting Reliability with the Craftsman All Rubber Garden Hose 5/8" x 50'

Some hoses tend to get brittle if they spend too much time in the hot sun, and others won't last if stored outside in freezing weather, but the Craftsman Rubber Garden Hose 5/8 in. x 50 ft. isn't fazed at all. This rubber hose has the reputation of being tough enough to remain flexible in weather temperatures as low as 25 degrees below zero, and all the way up to 160 degrees. A crush-proof brass coupler brings long-lasting quality to this workhorse of a hose. The reinforced radial tire cord ensures a long lasting, reliable hose you can depend upon.

•Craftsman Rubber Garden Hose 5/8" x 50' can withstand temperatures from -25 degrees up to 160 degrees
•This all-rubber hose comes with a concave hexagonal shape and a crush-proof brass coupler for durability
•The reinforced radial tire cord provides a single stream with 500 psi burst strength
•Full lifetime warranty included
•Made in the USA

To the guy who asked "who would drink from a hose" I have to answer "every single kid I knew growing up in the 60s." And guess what, we are all still here (well most of us, we are in our 50s now!) As long as you are confident in your local water supply, it is safe to drink from a garden hose.

There is nothing unsafe about this hose or the materials it is made of. The danger is from that ridiculous state with the bear on its flag that is progressively taking away all the rights of its citizens and legislating every last shred of fun out of life..
Bros before Hose.

As for the OP, the Craftsman hose is $20. Marked as such in the store, too.

The Flexzilla hose at Menards linked in a follow-up shows as $35.

So I guess it shouldn't be considered to be a good deal for those that paid RRP or is it just 'sour grapes' by you? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I bought one of those cheap hose reels to use on a generic 100' hose and I could barely fit 15' in it.

I got this hose and it fit perfectly. It is very flexible and the connectors are very solid.

All hoses warn you not to drink from them....you can literally taste the plastic (or in this case rubber) and bacteria love to breed in the dark wet confines in the hose.

I do love these hoses...but 2 of the last 4 are bought had issues. One had two female ends, and the other they forgot to crimp the metal band on the end and the end popped right out. They were bought at different times. But when the workers manage to assemble them properly they are great hoses.
