Costco is also running the T-Mobile BOGO for several Samsung devices.
Today we took T-Mobile BOGO for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone. Costco gave us the redemption form for 2 VR devices also rebate form for 2 $25 Costco Cash Cards and 2 Battery Chargers.

As of 06/06/16 at 1:00PM EST, there are some drawbacks/items of confusion that people should be aware of for this deal:
1) Seems like one of the new phones has to be used on the new line until the rebate is received (so you can't immediately use both new phones on old lines and keep the new line dormant for 3 months) - post #558 Update: Later posts are saying that there is no restriction on one of the new phones being tied down to the new line
2) Can't seem to check out online after going through cashback portals - post #552
3) Uncertain whether you can get the $150 rebate (for non-S7 phones) for each of the two phones, though some posters are claiming for each

Guys a great deal but this deal lacks some lustre due to following reasons.
Good offer but please find out what you are getting into

1) The device is still new but couple of months after the previous BOGO
2) Offer clearly states new line should be there for at least 3 months, t mobile will charge the price of the phone if you cancel service within 3 months.
3) Previous BOGO had a Galaxy VR as well as 1yr netflix. So it had 200+250=450$ worth extra gifts, market price may be 300-350$. But you do not get anything here.
4) T mobile is pretty slow to process rebates, more than 8 weeks are over, i do not think most people have received cards from previous BOGO, ya they will come, but slow.
5) Unless you pay off the device these are SIM locked to Tmobile same as last time, but need to keep in mind
6) Many people would not mind, buy FYI new s7, s7 edge phones are not rootable, does not matter to most but last time around people found out after purchasing the phone
7)The recent verizon S6 Edge and Edge plus sales from bestbuy

Having said all that , look at the merits of the deal.
Say buy a s7 edge for 789 plus tax=850 approx. pay taxes on the second one too, 900$. keep the addes line for 3-4 months= even assuming 10$ add a line and taxes, 60$. Rounding it off takes to around 960+ that is 1000 $. So each phone is 480-500$. I have given best case.
These phones cost around 700$ on ebay to buy, but combing with bucks or discounted gift cards, may get upto 650$. International versions are recently on sale for 630$ before ebay bucks, bestbuy has refurb ones for 550 plus tax. So each phone is around 100-150 cheaper than market price. If you want for yourselves immediately, ok deal. For flipping not enough margin. And in 2 months prices will fall.

If you buy at a T-Mobile store and EIP, you pay sales Tax at the store at the time. Costco does not, so I paid nothing in store, and got the free battery accessory (worth a buck or two).

So if you are doing this at a T-Mobile store for 2 x S7 edge's with 1 Line Upgrade and 1 New Line in Houston TX with 8.25% Sales Tax, you are looking at:
$139.98 ($69.99 up front x 2)
$130.35 (Sales Tax on $789.99 x 2)
$21.65 (SIM Card on New Activation)
$291.98 Total Drive Out. You will add $1440 EIP on the two lines, so $1731.98 Total Paid, with a rebate of $789.99 coming in 3 months, so you now have paid $941.99 ($471 each) for the phones, and paying $30 a month on EIP ($720/24) for each line.

Now doing the math at Costco Warehouse for 2 x S7 edge's with 1 Line Upgrade and 1 New Line in Houston TX with 8.25% Sales Tax, you are looking at:
$0 ($0 up front x 2)
$0 (Sales Tax on $0 x 2)
$0 (SIM Card on New Activation)
$0 Total Drive Out. You will add $1559.98 EIP on the two lines ($779.99 each, versus $789.99 from T-Mobile), with a rebate of $779.99 coming in 3 months, so you now have paid $779.99 ($390 each) for the phones, and paying $32.50 a month on EIP ($779.99/24) for each line.

Summary: $941.99 @ T-Mobile vs $779.99 Costco.

Add to that you get 2 x $25 Costco Cash (MIR), and 2 x $2.00 External Batteries.

Quick Summary: Costco is $200 cheaper ($100 per phone) if you include the $50 Costco Cash Card
Love my S7 Edge from the previous deal. Made out like a bandit.

2 S7 Edges, 4 Gear VRs (Costco gave me 2, and Samsung sent as well for some reason), 2 years Netflix, 2 battery packs, 2 64GB SD cards, 2 $30 Samsung Pay Best Buy giftcards, 2 $25 Costco cards for the price of one S7 Edge, taxes, and about $40 in line charges.

Good question

Would be a good deal for edge plus but deal would be really risky unless it works.
As such samsung states, cannot be combined with other offers or rebates.

I don't see the $150 rebate listed on the T-Mobile site anymore. If those did stack, this would be an incredible deal. Purchase period for the Note 5 $150 rebate is May 4 - June 14.

The BOGO promotion is submitted here: https://promotions.t-mobile.com/OfferSearch.aspx

The Note 5 $150 Rebate is submitted here: https://promos.samsungpromotions....ringrebate

The $150 rebate states [samsungpromotions.com]: If more than one (1) Qualifying Purchase is included on an individual receipt, a Participant will be able to then submit the additional Qualifying Purchase information, including the IMEI number and Wi-Fi MAC address of the additional
devices included on the uploaded Qualifying Purchase receipt. If a Participant purchased additional Qualifying Purchases in separate transactions, a separate Offer Claim Form must be submitted.

BUT

Limit one (1) Offer Rebate per Qualifying Purchase.

I can't tell if the BOGO is run by T-Mobile and the Note 5 $150 rebate is run by Samsung which would allow for both.

Using the same math above...if the $150 rebate applied, this would bring the cost of each Note 5 down to $220/ea plus tax on the full $1418.

That is correct...I think the cheapest line that you can add on T-Mobile runs $10/month so you would have to keep the line open for 3 months minimum adding $30 to the total cost of the deal.

I added two lines last week. One on Friday and one on Saturday. One was a port in from Sprint. The site says neither of the lines are eligible. They were part of the Costco deal. Any reason why I wouldn't be eligible?
