Barbie Dream House $20-$40 Walmart Clearance YMMV in-store $167 at Amazon/walmart.com

My local Walmart has the Barbie Dream House on clearance for $20. I bought out my store and giving a few to kids around me and am donating a few. If you buy more than one, please find a good home for it. Toys for tots or other non-profits would love these! Think how excited a little girl who didn't have much would love this! This is $167 on the Walmart website and $167 at Amazon.com.

Here is the same one I bought for $20 online for $167:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Barbie-...e/44668105

You can go to brickseeker to see if a store around you has them and how much:
http://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker
The product number to search for is: 44668105

Other stores in Alaska also have them listed for $20 but at least the Anchorage and Kenai stores are out of stock. Fairbanks Alaska says 2 or more in stock for $20! Smilie Hopefully somebody in Fairbanks can get there! I Fairbanks now says sold out. looked up a couple of random zip codes in other states and saw them out of stock and low stock for $40.

I've heard of people doing online orders or orders for in-store pickup and then returning the product at the store and then re-buying it for the local store's lower price. The price you would re-buy it for is the price that brickseeker says it is for your store. I have no idea how easy of thing this is to do.

Though a good price, this thing is a total piece of junk. It is very flimsy and not really good for playing with. It is really more of the big display case than something girls can play with. It will just take up space for a few years and then you will toss it out. There are tons of little plastic pieces the break or fall off. The only person less capable than the engineer that designed was the guy that wrote the assembly instructions.

My in laws has a Barbie Dream House from the 80s. It was very well built and something the kids could play with for decades to come.

OOS near me, but tempted to try finding another reason to drive 45 minutes to see if the next closest truly has the "one or less" shown on line.

Ok so it's a fixer upper. The point is $20 at 3-4% is a heck of a lot easier make repairs and upgrades than at $150 plus and if her credit is marginal than she' ll get a higher rate on top of that. This deal is a win -win for her and cant really depend on Ken to help out.

Thanks for posting about Fairbanks in the title. I'm on the East coast but my mom lives there and I sent her to the Walmart. It took her 2 hours to find them and they had to get a forklift guy to get them off the top shelf. She got 5 out of the 8 they had. I've tried so many zip codes and they are all $40 around the lower 48.
