Ways to get Carfax/autocheck reports

Apparently, the Slickdeals affect happenedlaugh out loud. The merchant reached out to me (should have blurred the vin number!) and said they do not want users to abuse their service (they noticed a lot of user create a posting, get the carfax and delete the car right away) and want me to delete this post. I respect their position and will remove content from here. But I still wanna help Slickdealers, so here's a quick summary of all the ways you can get carfax report (or carfax similar report), please do share any other ways you have and help the community!worshipworshipworship
  • Mycarfax app offers a free car report right?
  • eBay offers free reports too, but limited to 6 per year. (autocheck)
  • This is where I get all my carfax report. [danqiudanqiu.com] Not free, but very cheap if you have the license plate.

Is this the one you referring to: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/ve...ports.html

Is it a carfax competitors or alternative? Will buyers recognize this brand?

Haven't posted any deals for a while, please be easy on me if I did something wrong, I did do my homework before posting though Wink Wink Wink

So I'm trying to sell my Chevy Spark and switch to a SUV bounce, and now some buyers are asking for a Carfax report. I was really hoping Slickdeals will have a deal for free carfax, but I searched all forums here and couldn't find any.

I almost pulled the trigger for the $39 carfax report until one of my school buddy told me that I could get free report at http://www.carloha.com/en/ once I create an account and upload my car info. I tried and it did work, so I hope it will help some of you amazing fellows here as well:

1. Go to http://www.carloha.com/en/
2. Click "sign in" and then "sign up"
3. Now here's the annoying part, you have to use your cell phone to register (lame!)
4. Receive the verification code, follow the instructions to fill in your car info
5. Once finish and confirm posting your car, you will find your carfax report under "Sell Listing", and click the car you just uploaded to get to the PDF report.

Nevertheless, I still wanna ask since I'm newbie in selling car, is it always seller's responsibility to provide a Carfax? or am I just too nice?

Finally, if you have any other ways to get a free carfax, please share with us and help build the community!
It helps with your sale if u can provide a carfax or autocheck. Either one works.
