Your comment doesn't make any sense, both screens have the same resolution.

The main difference with the screen is that LCD has a backlight and OLED doesnt, causing it to look washed out on older games. As I have already said, newer games are designed for LCD RGB Gamut, which would cause OLED screen to actually surpass the RGB spectrum, making the game look over-saturated. A person with good vision as you mentioned would clearly notice the over-saturated colors.

You have to realize too that the main reason they switch to LCD was because of complaints of poor daylight visibility. OLED looks great home, but is nearly impossible to see with any type of sun hitting the screen.

You are only selectively looking at one single aspect too and ignoring everything else.
-Removed the proprietary cable and switched to microusb
-Longer battery life (1+hr)
-Good amount lighter
-Thinner
-Less prone to burn-in
-Has internal storage (original vita requires a sd card even for physical games, slim does not)
-Better buttons
-Larger grip pad
-Faster processor
-Better daylight visibility
Remote play is all that I use my Vita for these days. You can remote play in a different room of your house or in a hotel room 1,000 miles away (if the hotel and your home Wifi speeds are fast enough). It's a PS4 on the go.

Not a bad deal... If you return it opened in the first three weeks they charge you roughly $15 and you pay shipping.

I don't know why this is tempting... I had a Vita before and barely used it. I would only use this again for PS4 remote play and still not sure if I'd even use it, but the struggle is reeeeeeal!
