For those of you that don't know much about ride-ons, let me give you my experience. I bought a 6v model (jeep) for DD when she was ~3. What a piece of shit. What a waste of time and hassle. Why? It wasn't built or designed poorly, per se, but these cheaper 6V models generally only have a SINGLE rear wheel drive. That means you will spend most of your time pulling the kid around/out of places where the car simply won't move. Also, their steering/alignment tends to suck, exacerbating the above.

I realize it's cheap, but at $60 you are better off spending a bit more (or waiting for another SD) and get a 12V dual drive model that the kid can actually be independent and have fun in.

Ordered one! I'm lazy and never updated my redcard information, nor did I activate the new one with the chip, so my card wouldn't work. I did, however, have $60 in gift cards to use, and entering all 4 of them still waived the $20 handling fee, even though my red card is no longer valid. I really need to figure out where the one they sent me went...

This will make a good modified batmobile.

edit: actually, looking at the confirmation email, there was still a $20 handling fee, but the car was only $37.04. Then the shipping fee was $4 but waived. And I still received $2.85 in redcard discounts, even though it was all gift cards... This is some Sears math if I've ever seen it... and in for a cancellation....
