I got 10% bonus FoodPerks after watching the whole video. You can also refer friends for extra bonus.

Must have your advantage card number to register.

http://www.get-go.com/Article.aspx?cntid=197275

foodperks!™ Promotional Terms & Conditions
A Giant Eagle Advantage Card® is required to participate. Limit one foodperks!™ discount reward per household. Households that have previously received a foodperks!™ reward are ineligible for additional foodperks!™ discount rewards. Tell-a-Friend rewards are applied to your Giant Eagle Advantage Card® when your referred Friend visits foodperks.com and watches the foodperks!™ video to completion. Tell-a-Friend rewards are based on availability and are subject to change. Giant Eagle® reserves the right to discontinue the reward and this promotion at any time. foodperks!™ rewards will expire three months after the last day of the month in which they’re earned. Limit one foodperks!™ coffee reward per household. Rewards for a free 12 oz. cup of GetGo® coffee expire 14 days from the date loaded on to the Giant Eagle Advantage Card® and is redeemable only at participating GetGo® locations. foodperks!™ discounts are redeemable at participating Giant Eagle®, Market District® and Giant Eagle Express® stores only. foodperks!™ discounts are applied to net purchases after all other discounts (coupons, Giant Eagle Advantage Card® discounts, etc.). Rewards have no cash value.

foodperks!™ is a program much like fuelperks!®, except it allows you to earn discounts on grocery purchases at Giant Eagle® by pumping gas at GetGo®. For every 10 gallons of fuel you pump, you earn a 1% discount on a future visit to Giant Eagle®!
All pumped gallons qualify toward foodperks!™ discounts, including gallons you pump with your fuelperks!® discounts.

In fact, by combining your foodperks!™ and fuelperks!® discounts, you can maximize your savings on both fuel and food.

Every ounce of fuel you pump counts. When you pump fuel in an amount less than 10 gallons, this amount is counted toward discounts earned the next time you pump fuel. If you pump more than 10 gallons, but fewer than 20, you will immediately earn your 1% discount, and the balance will be held over toward your next fill-up.

We keep track for you. Like fuelperks!®, you can find how much of a foodperks!™ discount you’ve earned and how many gallons you have pumped toward your next discount on your participating Giant Eagle® or GetGo® receipt.

Your discounts expire three months after the last day of the month in which they are earned (for example, discounts earned in February 2010 expire on May 31, 2010). Your receipt tells you if any of your discounts expire at the end of the current month.

When you check out at Giant Eagle®, Giant Eagle Express® or Market District®, you’ll be asked if you want to use your foodperks!™ or save them for a future visit. If you choose to use your foodperks!™, your discount will be calculated after all other reductions (coupons, Giant Eagle Advantage Card® discounts, etc.) are made.

Your maximum redeemable discount is 20%. Discounts may only be redeemed on any single transaction totaling no more than $300 in qualified items after coupons and Giant Eagle Advantage Card® discounts are applied. Any remaining percentage in excess of 20% may be used on a future shopping trip. The larger your shopping order, the more you save. foodperks!™ discounts cannot be applied toward the purchase of gift cards.

You cannot transfer foodperks!™ discounts to another Giant Eagle Advantage Card® account.

If you have any other questions about foodperks!™, please read the Official Rules and Regulations or call 1-800-553-2324.

I just had to share this mornings experience at Giant Eagle - after a 15 minute debate with the cashier and calling the manager over to agree with me I was able to do

2 Dial for Men Bodywashes on sale 2/$7
4 Right Guard Total Defense 5 on sale BOGO
used 2 Buy 1 Dial for Men bodywash and get 1 Total Defense 5
used 1 $1/2 Dial Bodywashes
Pay $6 plus tax for all 6!

Cashier originally wanted to put only half price for the one free as they are BOGO on the Total Defense 5, but she finally agreed to use the full price to get all deoderants free! I have a few more coupons, but I don't know if I want to go through that again!

I'm surprised that you got them to give you the full price - they should have only given you the price it was ringing it up at - half price

The Manager agreed with me - she even stated that I am paying for the one with a coupon so both are $0 oop. I am confused why I should pay half. I try to do the correct way with the coupons because I do not want to cause issues with stores or cheat anyone. I would appreciate a little more detail to understand. When GE has a BOGO sale it rings each up at half when you buy two instead of showing one at $0 - you are still paying the full price for one. So if I got the two and had the coupon - they are still getting paid the full price for the one from the coupon. I have no problems like this at the drug stores - BOGO coupon with BOGO sale equals free. Are GE rules different? I want to make sure before doing again - as I said I don't want to cheat anyone.

Are those VISA cards the ones that cost $4.95 to activate ? (I'm talking about the ones that are giving $10 off your next order, or whatever it says~I don't have the ad here in front of me.)

I'm pretty sure they are the ones you're referring to.

Almost all of GE bogo items ring up at 1/2 price and you aren't required to buy both to get the special price. (meat is usually excluded - you have to buy 2 items to get 1 for free). Since it only rings up at 1/2 price, the q would be for the amount it rings up as. If they rang up $3.99 and $0 - then yes, they should take $3.99 off but, if it only rang up at $1.99, then that's all the q should have taken off. I wouldn't want them to start requiring us to buy 2 of each item in order to get the discount.

No, you are paying half price for one.

The amt. entered on the free q should be the amt. the item rang up for. Usually the GE way of doing a BOGO works out better if you have a two $ off qs, but it isn't as great as a DS BOGO deal when you have a BOGO q, and truly get both for free. By the way, after Wags got burned on the Purex BOGO, they're not accepting BOGO qs on a BOGO sale anymore. This is across the country, although you will find cashiers here and there that don't know any better.

I don't know if anyone else can confirm this, but I tried the Olay Bodywashes 2/$11 (all varieties) and no cat came out. Even at customer service nothing came out when they tried to generate it so they just gave me a gift card. If anyone tries this tomorrow, can you post if it works? Also, did the McCormick grill mates and Gatorade and they both worked awesome! (Grillmates worked on shelf of course!)

I am checking them out today myself because I thought with this last change in the credit card/government ruling that were forced on the credit card people - that is one of the things that they are not allowed to do. My banker recently was encouraging to use one of them rather than an online credit card purchase. When I mentioned the activation fee and losing money if you don't use it within a certain amount of time - she said that they are not allowed to do that any more.

Did she understand this was a prepaid card, not a regular CC which is subject to different terms?

It would be great if we could get these without the activation fees!

OMGOOODNESS What drug was she on when she told me that??

The really sad part is - I just sent one to my nephew a few weeks ago as a gift. PFFFTH some gift.

If I read the sign correctly - It's $1.00 Activation fee - $3.98 start up change - unless you have a card that you reactivate. You can use an old card - buy a new one and reactivate the first card with instructions for the activation fee. And the balance gets deducted every 30 days by some percent for non use. What a racket!!

Thank you all for not beating me up too bad for my stuuuu-pidity
