Second this. Bought this from a slickdeals deal about a year ago, and have used it 4 or 5 times since then. The brushes will stop spinning because the gears rust (at least it did on mine). A quick fix is to take the brushes out and put a hex head bolt in the hole and try to manually break the gears free. That worked for me the first time they locked up. The second time, this method didn't work and i had to disassemble it to get to the rusted gears... wd40 and some scraping and they started moving again. The good news is that it is relatively easy to disassemble... just a bunch of screws if i remember correctly.

This has two tanks, one for water and one for cleaning solution... there is a selector to choose between "wash" (sprays cleaning solution and water together) and "rinse" (sprays water only)... however, the cleaning solution is rather expensive, so what i did was get a gallon of Zep concentrated carpet cleaner from Home Depot for about $10, and completely omitted the cleaning solution tank. I just fill the water tank up and put the appropriate amount of zep in ( i think it's 5 or 6 ozs to a gallon, and i think the tank is right around a gallon), then i use the 'rinse' setting to clean the room. After the zep solution has been applied to the room, i empty the water tank, rinse it out a couple times, then fill it with water only. Then i go back over the room using the 'rinse' setting again, to rinse the excess cleaning solution out of the carpet.
I've read a lot of reviews and youtube videos about how effective this unit is. I don't have a Kohl's Card so I only got 20% off, and with tax (Santa Ana, CA) it came out to $120.95 final price. I do get $20 Kohl Cash and additional $5 next month so this was a very good deal.

I tried ordering a USED one from Amazon Warehouse for $119.63 which ended up getting lost in transit. This is a great deal on a very good product if you're looking for a carpet cleaner.

I read articles saying that you can use boiling water instead of hot water for better cleaning and faster drying. Someone even said that they don't use anything but water. No cleaning solution means, no soapy residue. That person also recommended a spot cleaner (Spot Shot) to clean deeper stains.

$10 since I don't have a Kohls charge. The Kohls Cash lowered what I was paying so less Kohls cash earned in the end.

I have this and it works pretty well. We have white carpet that's always looking dirty and this cleaned it up nicely. I paid ~$150 on Amazon within the last 2 months.
