Did a search and did not see this come up - just a heads up that Chase Freedom (Not the new unlimited) is extending the 5% Cash back at wholesale clubs through the end of the year. Capped at $1500 spend at wholesale clubs.... EDIT: $1500 spend per quarter combined with the other quaterly bonus categories.

I was going to buy tires this month even though I didn't need them just yet.. but looks like I can hold off a bit and look for a better deal!

they are probably going after the newly available costco customers
Well, their tactic worked. I am officially mothballing the SPG Amex and pulling the Freedom card out of 4 year storage.
No, citi is 2% CB and chase freedom is 5% CB in the warehouse, but for gas citi is 4% and chase freedom is 1%Wink

Hmm, interesting. Doesn't change much for me. I plan on buying a large Sam's GC with the 10% Double CB to use at Walmart.

Yep - all VISA branded credit cards will work with the official card being Citibank. Similar to all AMEX cards working Costco earlier. Got to remember which card to swipe next time.

I purchased tires last month. Ended up getting them 70.00 off from discount + 60.00 free install (Executive members) + 25.00 Chase cash back. It'll be great being able to use the card in the warehouse now.
