Lowest price on camelx3 is over $1000, now is lowest PLUS $300 coupon, extra many cameras, if you compare to recent deals, only spend $100 more to get, you know, more lol

I think the 16-channel deal is still 8 cameras but a 16- channel NVR - Additional camera are pricey at $120.

Anyone know if these cams work with blue iris? (onvif?) I'm still reading...

**edit**

A quick search on the ipcamtalk board says that these cams and nvr are made by hikvision, top-name all around.

if we forward the ports manually and setup own ddns, I don't see how the nvr knows/cares that it's coming from outside.

I just bought the 8-channel system - largely because I believe the 8 cams will work well with blue iris.

I will probably try to resell the nvr.

Coupon is limited, so we all have chances to do what we want, unlike resellers

Do you know if you can use these cameras with Blue Iris? I've looked at many of these before and have found the cameras are "poe" but proprietary to the NVR...

Only downside is that each camera has an ugly blue collar, which doesn't work with most paint colors...

What system would you be running with the BlueIris software? I guess if you already have a system that can handle 8 cameras at 1080P that may be a better choice. I don't think my current PC can handle the 8 cameras.
