deal [amazon.com]
$34 + free shipping w/ promotional code: SGL6INRL

this one has unlimited qty.

I actually prefer 5000k over 3000k

features:
  • Energy star approved, UL Listed, Lighting Facts, LM79/LM80
  • Replace 100W halogen bulb with 13W LED (approx 1100 lumens)
  • Dimmable. Works with most of dimmers but to ensure flicker free dimming, please use with silicone-controlled rectifier type dimmer
  • Easy installation. Integrated LED recessed downlight with white die cast baffle trim and a medium E26 based screw in adapter, it can be easily installed without using any tools. Please refer to the picture of the installation process.
  • 5-year warranty. Extremely long lifespan over 36,000 hours.

So I purchased the 3k and 5k versions last time.. In addition I purchased some elite 3k lighting and some Home Depot led trim.. Lastly I have both regular switches as well as dim able switches.. 1. Lighting color These bulbs are great for areas where u don't care that much about quality of light.. I put the 5k in the mud room.. U really dot care there if there is a slightly blue tone.. I put the 3k in the living areas.. 2. Lumens (how bright) ignore what this says.. I think it says some something like 800 lumens.. I had it side by side with a 600 elite led can.. The 600 was way brighter.. U have to be ok with them lying about lumens.. 3. Variation.. There was slight variation across the massive order I had.. I ordered 15 boxes for a home remodel.. Nothing major.. But some irritation having to match which bulbs were closer than others by room.. But worth it given the price delta 4. Dimming.. U absolutely DO NOT want these bulbs for dimmers.. They will make a low buzz that drove me NUTs.. U typically Hear it when the tv is off and ur reading.. It gave me a headache.. Used elite bulbs there..

you should check the return policy @ amazon, but otherwise, it should be the same process

You will probably get dinged for a restock fee. The last deal I accidentally bought 5k instead of 3k. When I went through the return process it did not give me the option for Amazon credit and charged me $7 to return.

I looked and never saw an actual return policy for it just a warranty page that said to contact seller.

I ordered 1 plus a 4 pack of 4" for my kitchen. I would like to change out all the ones in my basement since these are ~300 lumens higher than what I have but I'd need 14 of them and I don't want to do all that and not like the 5000k color. :/

I like them. Real easy to install and has a more updated look than cans with a bulb. They do have a sec of latency but no more than any other led bulb I have.
