Great deal on 16gb laptop memory [amazon.com]. I bought it to upgrade my 2012 macbook pro.

I don't think amazon does price match but if you call sometimes they give you a courtesy gift card.

Except for TVs, they don't price match on products.

Last I heard, they stopped offering price adjustments. CC price protection is your best bet.

Shit. Newegg won't PM. Hate to pay tax.
After checking, your request for a price match cannot be processed because the item is not a Price Match Guaranteed product. The eligible items have an Price Match Guarantee badge on the product page throughout the site.

Would it be stupid to ask if this is compatible with most PC/non-mac computers?

Is this compatible with Thinkpad T450?

The specs look the same (SODIMM, DDR3L 1600, 1.35v) as the one from the Crucial memory guide for T450:

http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/thi.../CT6942352

Thanks.

Yes, compatible. It'll probably even run with a normal non-low voltage DDR3, but no reason to since it'll use more energy. Mac's are kind of weird that they seem to have compatibility issues with some RAMs.

Also, there could be more compatibility issues if you get a low latency RAM. I never experienced compatibility issues however.

Waiting for a deal on a 32 GB DDR3L kit. I don't think it's going to happen, though…

Should I buy now or wait. Only have 8 gb and not bad. I have a late 2011 model. I still need a ssd for it.
