I have been setting up wireless camera's at my home for the last 2 months. I know that sounds weird but I have sent SOOOO much junk back to Amazon because of the quality, or lack thereof ! My first purchase was one of these exact same 4 camera setups, only I chose the 960p option because it was not much more in cost. The problem with these setups is that the DVR's are the HUGE limiting factor in the whole system and that's why I ended up just buying single 1080p cameras from Amazon and they are EXCELLENT camera's and have built-in software so that you don't even need a dvr. The camera holds up to 200gb micro sd card and it records to that on top of recording to my home PC which I have installed Blue Iris software on. These DVR's are terrible when you actually want to try and find a recording that you would like to watch. They record in 4 hour segments and then you have to search for what you are looking for and it's VERY painful to say the least. Also, you need to look VERY hard at the "fps" specification, because that's also why I sent a lot of cams back to Amazon because it was hard to get used to watching choppy video and so many lags that it was almost unbearable. The cams I have now are from MicroSeven and they are 1080p camera's and will do 25-30fps without blinking! The colors are accurate and when you zoom in digitally it actually lets you see more details, versus just blowing the picture up and washing out every single detail. If you just want basic functionality and are not worried about your recordings and how they look, than go for it. The thing is, if something actually does happen and you are relying on this to aid you in taking care of the problem, than you will regret not spending extra money and getting something that is decent quality. These are toys, and I don't want toys when it comes to security and my families protection. I want a system that I can rely on, and this isn't it... The camera below is EXCELLENT and the tech support is A plus! With a basic system, you have virtually no support! Also, these camera's can be used with ANY software on the market and are ONVIF compatible (a huge benefit) . Good luck with your purchases.

Son of a b! i bought this last month when it was on SD. I've had it installed for about 4 weeks now, pretty happy with it. Going to share this with friends and family in case they want in as well. It was very easy to set up, had it running and recording in like 30 minutes, set up on the dinner table. Hardest part was running all the wires through the attic. I use the included app and watch my cams all day at work via spare android phone (that i got on sd of course). works fine on our iphones also. we usually have to restart the app for it to work, but always works after a restart. one of the cams did get foggy, but only at night when the IR is on. hopefully when i leave review on amazon theyll send me a new one. the recording also works fine, went up and exported a clip of me tripping and cutting my finger open last weekend. hilarious.

also keep in mind this is 8 channel, so you can add 4 more cameras. that's what i plan to do before we leave on a trip for 2 weeks in july.

edit: in for another for my parents' house. thanks op

Looks like a good system for the money. Have been waiting. I wanted the 8 channel capability but can get by with 4 cameras right now. Good price. Decent reviews except some had problems with poor instructions but most seem happy with cameras. I need this for home security... thanks

My sister needed a system for her property. They have a house, a two car garage, a large outbuilding, and a smaller outbuilding. They run a business from there. For the money, you can't beat this and the resolution is high enough to make out enough details of a person that it is useful to the police should the need arise.

well, looks like 960H vs 1080p, 75 degree vs 115 degree viewing angle, and a brand. I never heard of Annke before.

well, my bad, it is 960p, not 960H, much better image quality in that case, though still not 1080p
